Central Nurse Call Operator - Special Staffing - Full Time / Nights

The Central Nurse Call Operator provides support for the nursing units. Responsibilities include answering patient calls in a central location, relaying requests to appropriate staff, recording pertinent data, reporting delays in response time to appropriate director or clinical supervisor, assisting with other duties including, but not limited to: assembling chart fillers, participating in unit-specific quality initiatives/projects, answering family-initiated RRT calls, and assisting in monitoring infant security system.

Education REQUIRED: High school graduate/equivalent

Experience REQUIRED: Excellent communication – both oral and written
Typing and clerical skills
