Job Description

A non-licensed Patient Sitter works under the supervision and guidance of a professional staff nurse to provide observation of patients as a "sitter" only.  The Patient Sitter must promote good public relations for the department and Tennova Medical Center while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality.

Education/License/Certification:

  • Completion of Patient Sitter training
  • Successful completion of two day orientation period
