Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant applies principals of accounting and overall accounting knowledge to develop and maintain the general accounting systems of Lutheran Health Network and related entities, in accordance with established policies and procedures.  In addition, the Senior Accountant prepares financial and operating reports from financial and statistical data, assists in the preparation of financial statements, additional reports and analyses, and assists in mentoring and training staff accountants.

Education: 

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, or Business Administration with a major in Accounting is required. MBA, CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Certifications/Experience: 

• Minimum two years hospital accounting or general accounting experience as a Senior Accountant is required
