Monitor Tech - PRN

The Monitor Technician scans cardiac rhythms/monitors and reports significant changes to licensed staff.

Completion of Basic EKG course is required (or within 30 days of hire into the department). Completion of a vocational nursing assistant course is preferred. Must be able to read and write the equivalent of eighth grade English.

Prior EKG or cardiac monitoring experience is preferred.

BLS Certification is required (or within 30 days of hire into the position).
