Mammography Techno I-FT Day Shift w Rotation

Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality mammogram images according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Graduate of a radiographer program; completion of eight (8) hours of digital mammographer training; forty (40) hours of training in mammography; performance of twenty-five (25) mammograms under direct supervision of MQSA qualified individual. One (1) year of clinical Mammography experience in an acute care and/or high volume (200 mammograms/24 month period) setting is preferred.  Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (or within 9 months of hire into the department). BLS Certification is required (or within 30 days of hire into the department).  This position will also include diagnostic radiology and bone density duties in main department.
