Job Summary: 

Under the direction of the department Director, performs diagnostic, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.  Follows all ACR guidelines and maintains proper radiation dosing to all patients.

Population served:
• Pediatric (1-12 years)
• Adolescent (13-17 years)
• Adult (18 years to 69 years)
• Geriatric (70 years and older)

Reports to: Diagnostic Imaging Director

Education: 

Completion of a 2 or more year Radiologic Technologist program in an AMA approved school.

Experience: One year or more experience as a CT Technologist preferred.  A working knowledge of the CT equipment is necessary.  Additional on the job training will be conducted. 

Licenses/Certifications:

ARRT; BLS certification, Registered in CT within 6 months of employment.  Must be licensed in the State of Florida.
