Job Summary:

As a Cardiovascular Tech in our Cath Lab, you'll play a critical role in assisting the medical team during interventional cardiac procedures. You'll assist physicians and senior department personnel in conducting invasive tests and procedures by preparing equipment and patients for exams, monitoring vital signs, and electrocardiograph data, and attending to patient's needs under minimal supervision. Your expertise is vital for the successful diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain catheterization equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the setup and preparation of the cath lab for procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide assistance during procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately.

Qualifications:

• Must be registered as a Registered Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with either ARRT or CCI
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required through either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures.
