Clinical Dietitian

Monitors nutritional care, manages physician-ordered therapeutic diets and provides nutritional education to patients. Directs, supervises, and coordinates diet office activities and staff

Minimum Education:   Associate’s Degree or equivalent schooling and completion of an ADA approved dietetics program.

Preferred Education:   Bachelor or Master’s Degree.

Minimum Experience:  RD eligible for test within 6 months.     

Preferred Experience:   Some experience as either a Dietitian or a Nutritionist.

Required Licensure, Registration, Certification: Current Florida license and registration with the American Dietetic Association. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   Knowledge of foods/nutrition; food preparation; production; supervisory/instructional techniques.

Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.  Ability to perform effectively in fast paced, stressful environment
