Job Description
- FT | Days
- Evaluates perioperative patients and plans, implements and documents surgical nursing care.
- Performs surgical procedures under supervision of a surgeon.
- Functions in a scrub and circulating nurse role. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
- Requires an associate's degree, certification as a registered nurse first assistant (CRNFA), certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR), and at least 2 years of operating room experience.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
