Job Description

Provides quality radiologic care through a variety of functions; performs various patient care activities under nursing supervision; performs various clerical functions as assigned, to support the clinical and Center goals.


  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technologist required



  • Current State licensure as Radiology Technologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a surgical setting preferred.
  • Maintains all required certifications: CPR, ASRT
  • Performs assigned nursing support tasks according to Center policy and procedures, including to assist with OR suite turn-over as time allows.
  • Performs various housekeeping functions as assigned, including stocking/restocking supplies and linen carts, cleaning and changing patient carts, collection and disposal of soiled linen/ trash, general cleaning of desks, patient areas, radiology and surgical equipment.
  • Assesses safety and effectiveness of equipment and the environment and communicates deficits to Clinical Manager.
  • Provides technical skills involving radiology and fluoroscopy.
  • Takes, labels, and prints radiographs of various parts of the body, intra-operatively, and uploads properly to electronic record.
  • Assists in patient and staff education and counseling regarding radiation safety.
  • Demonstrates and utilizes good guest relations skills with members of the staff, physicians, patients, and visitors.
  • Participates in the orientation of new staff, volunteers, and approved program participants.
  • Attitude - Provides highest quality service and meeting customers' needs with utmost kindness, care, compassion, courtesy, empathy, respect and friendliness. Always acknowledges and serves customers with a friendly, open smile and direct eye contact.
