Provides technical support necessary to ensure safe and accurate delivery of radiation to patients seeking treatment. Implements and maintains appropriate quality control measures and procedures to satisfy regulatory requirements and ensure safe use and delivery of radiation. Acts as consultant for physician and other and as a teacher for staff members on radiation delivery and radiation safety issues. Masters Degree in physics or closely related area required. Certification by American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics required. Three to four years of experience in this field preferred.
