Rad Tech Apprentice - Interventional Radiology

Radiology Technologist Apprentice -- PRN position in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Unit at Lutheran Health Network - Lutheran Hospital

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Radiography program
• No Experience is required.  Lutheran Health Network will provide training! 
• Transcripts of classes must be submitted to confirm graduation date and period of time in radiology program

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of assigned unit management, provides clerical, transport and patient support for radiographic procedures.  Assists the technologist and physician during diagnostic, specialized, surgical and/or fluoroscopy examination as directed. 

MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure: N/A

Registration/Certification: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required within 30 days of employment.

Education: Successful completion of at least one year and current enrollment in an accredited school of radiology. 

Experience: Prior clinical and technical experience in radiographic procedures.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of the role of  and relationship with other team members.
• Demonstrates well developed interpersonal and communication skills necessary to establish and maintain positive therapeutic/working relationships with all internal and external customers, as needed.
• Flexibility is required. Weekends and Holidays required for benefited associates.
