Job Description

Directs an organization's financial policies. Oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Typically represents the 2nd most senior finance executive. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related. At least 7-10 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Develop service line analyses and pro formas (hospital and physician practice)
  • Collaborate with Case Management, Patient Access and HIM leaders to drive the revenue cycle process
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecast creation and submission
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Assist day-to-day operations management, such as supply management, staffing and contract review
  • Work with Controller to ensure that accounting policies and procedures are in place
  • Review/Implement SOX controls 
  • Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed
