MRI Technologist PRN

As an MRI Tech, at Mountainview Regional Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.   • Required: Completion of course of study resulting in acquisition of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and Radiographic Radiologic Technologist (RRT) licensure
  • Required: • One (1) year experience in hospital environment
  • Preferred - Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI
  • Required - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Due by close on the last day of the month after two full months of work

About the Job:

  • A clinically competent, registered, professional MRI Technologist who delivers care to the patient by performing a variety of procedures utilizing all aspects of the equipment.
  • Will possess knowledge of accepted MRI principals and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served (i.e. Neonates to geriatric).
  • Will provide patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures.
  • Expected to provide a positive image of MVRMC and to be able to communicate effectively with patients, peers, physicians and visitors.
