Job Description

Directs and oversees food service for patients, employees, and visitors in a healthcare environment. Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures in accordance with administrative directives and professional standards. Develops menus and oversees the handling, preparation, and storage of food. Oversees equipment maintenance, record keeping and all sanitation activities. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management. Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
