Job Description

The Plant Ops Specialist’s primary responsibilities are divided into two categories within a shift coverage period. These responsibilities consist of: safely transporting, assisting and accompanying all patients who are transferred to and from the hospital via the hospital’s vans and performing general building maintenance duties and repairs as assigned. This position, on occasion, provides indirect patient care to adolescents, adult and geriatric patients.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.  Prefer additional technical training in this field.

Experience:

Public/commercial or healthcare transportation experience preferred or larger vehicle driving experience and strong building maintenance/repair skills.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Indiana Operator's Driver's License upon hire, or within 30 days after hire. 
  • CPR certifrication obtained and maintained within 30 days of hire.
