RN-Ambulatory Surgery Center-PRN-Regular

The circulating RN monitors the procedures as they occur in the operating room.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring that the surgical room is sterile and safe for the patient, working side by side with the scrub nurses to assist in maintaining the sterile field, preparation of the patient and operating room for assigned procedure, assess the patient's condition before, during and post surgery, assists providers in development of the plan of care and updates as needed throughout the procedure.

Education:  Graduate of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Experience:  Prior operating room or circulator experience is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:  Current Mississippi RN licensure is required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
