We are seeking a fulltime, experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team at our Northwest Diagnostic Clinic

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant manner
  • Prepare examination rooms for patients before and in between visits
  • Assist patients as needed with health questionnaires
  • Escort patients to examination rooms
  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts
  • Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician
  • Clean and sterilize instruments
  • Set up supplies in procedure room
  • May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Cross-train to cover front desk when coverage is needed
  • May be required to float to other clinics as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
