Radiology RN Gadsden Regional Imaging

Full Time / Days

Under the supervision of the physician, Director of Diagnostic Imaging and/or Chief Technologist, is responsible for assessing the nursing needs and initiating appropriate interventions for patients in the Diagnostic Imaging Departments. Care will be provided in accordance with GRMC nursing policies and procedures and GRMC Diagnostic Imaging policies and procedures. Maintains standards of nursing care and practices of the Nursing Department. Coordinates educational programs for patients, families and staff. Conducts QA/PI studies and participates in the QA/PI committee. Responsible for administering and complying with IV conscious sedation guidelines of GRMC for Diagnostic Imaging patients.

Education REQUIRED: Graduate of a School of Nursing

Experience REQUIRED:
? ACLS Certified
? Basic knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging procedures is desirable
? Proficient in IV skills
? Three to five years acute care, med-surgical, critical care or ED experience.

Licenses/Certificates REQUIRED: Current Alabama RN license
