JOB SUMMARY:
The position reports to the Regional CIO and is responsible for managing the office of the CIO
(OCIO) and provides the overall leadership for the Demand Management, Supply Management
and Controls of the IT capabilities of the division and focuses on ensuring that the IT
organization does the right things through strategy and governance, as well as doing things
right.
The position ensures systems performance and service-level requirements are met.
Manages IT resource requirements to balance tactical and strategic demands appropriately.
Implements IT continuous improvement programs within enterprise guidelines through
organizational and operational model development and performance management as well as
day-to-day operations to improve infrastructure costs, performance, and end-user satisfaction.
Director to manage the analysis, selection, design, implementation, and support of Information
Systems and Technology (IT) solutions to manage and improve upon overall operational
excellence.
MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure:
None Required
Experience:
10 to 15 or more years of experience in progressive leadership positions in IT and
Healthcare operations industry required
Five to seven years of leadership responsibility in managing multiple, large, cross-
functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key
stakeholders required
Extensive experience in managing technical and non-technical infrastructure and
Operations required
Five years or more experience in both technical and strategic roles in healthcare
Environments required
Education:
Master’s Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a
related field, or equivalent work experience
