Job Description

  • Receive and unload materials, supplies, and equipment delivered to the receiving area.
  • Inspect and process shipments into the materials information system on goods received.
  • Load, transport, and unload materials, goods, supplies, and equipment throughout the institution, including all buildings.
  • Stock and maintain inventory items in the Storeroom, Central Supply, and Surgery.
  • Retrieves and replace exchange carts on all nursing units. Inspect and restock exchange carts to predetermined Par Levels.
  • Utilize materials management information system to optimize the inventory levels in the storeroom, CSR, and other department par supply areas.
  • Maintain necessary department logs, files, and records.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Min of three years previous materials management experience.
  • Previous Surgical Services Materials Coordinator experience preferred.
