Cath Lab Technologist (Radiology)
Job Description-
Lake Granbury Medical Center's cath lab radiology technologist performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The ideal candidate has the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The cath lab radiology tech is proficient in proper radiation protection techniques, ALARA, and competent to use radiologic and cardiac equipment appropriately. The cath lab radiology tech assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. they lead the work of other staff and students as required and actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. After hours and weekend call required.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic science or cardiovascular technology.
Experience: Minimum 1-year previous Radiology and Cath Lab experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
For RT(R) - Current Registered Radiologic Technologist License with TMB. Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current AHA or ARC BLS certification. Current AHA or ARC ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
For RCIS - Current Limited Medical Radiological Technologist License with TMB. Current RCIS registry with CCI. Current AHA or ARC BLS certification. Current AHA or ARC ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
