Pediatric Speech Therapist (Speech Language Pathologist - SLP) - PRN position in the Rehab Unit (Out Patient) at Lutheran Health Network - Lutheran Hospital

Education:
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology, or equivalent degree as designated by an accredited university
Experience:
Demonstrates strong working knowledge and skill experience with a variety of diagnostic groups including but not limited to the following: neurological disorders including CVA, TBI, degenerative neurological diseases, ventilator dependent and tracheostomy patients, dysphagia patients, those with dementia and other cognitive disorders, voice disorders, etc.
Experience with Pediatric population preferred.

Job Description:
Under the immediate direction of the Director of Therapy Services, the Therapy Operations Manager, or other designated management, functions as a staff Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with responsibility for the provision of age appropriate services for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, as assigned, including assessment; direct treatment to individuals and groups; supervision of treatment delivered by a student SLP; provision of patient and family instruction; participation in family and team conferences; participation in quality improvement programs; documentation of services according to hospital and departmental standards; and supervision and direction of a Rehabilitation Technician, as required.
