Physical Therapy Tech-PRN

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of division management, the rehab tech provides assistance with patient care, maintenance of department cleanliness, equipment inventory, processing orders and office support for the division.  

Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications

Experience:

No experience is required.

Education:

Minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent

Job Knowledge & Skills:

• Demonstrates basic understanding of patient transfers, transport and a patient care environment.
• Demonstrates basic understanding of therapy treatment principles.
• Requires basic understanding of the related behaviors, needs and comfort appropriate to age (including infant, child, adolescent, aging adult) and diagnosis of patient served in order to support the provision of an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Demonstrates well developed interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with all internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language both verbal and written.
