Excellent opportunity for an experienced Surgical Technologist in a busy multi-specialty outpatient surgery center.
At least 2 years prior experience as Surgical Tech required.
Northwest Tucson Surgery Center OR located on the Northwest Medical Center campus in the Gateway Building.
This scrub tech position is Full-time days - No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays and No Call!

You'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. OR located at Northwest Tucson Surgery Center on the Northwest Medical Center campus. 

Requirements:

Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program
-OR-  2 years of on-the-job training
-OR-  7 years of experience working in the field
-OR-  Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience

Experience : 2 years prior experience as Surgical Tech required

Licenses/Certifications: Required: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C)   

 About the Job:

• Assists in the care of the surgical patient applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures
• Arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed
• Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.

Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
